HVAC Engineer – Commercial Air Conditioning

About the role
We are seeking an HVAC Engineer to join a well‑established family business delivering service and maintenance for commercial air‑conditioning and refrigeration equipment. The position is field‑based, covering a local patch with occasional travel further afield.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out planned maintenance on commercial refrigeration and air‑conditioning systems.
- Respond to reactive service calls and resolve faults on site.
- Provide diagnostics and troubleshooting for a range of equipment.
- Travel door‑to‑door across the assigned area, typically Monday‑Friday 8:30 am‑5:00 pm.
Required profile
- Experience working with commercial refrigeration or air‑conditioning systems.
- Valid driving licence.
- F‑Gas qualification.
Required skills
- Commercial air‑conditioning systems.
- Commercial refrigeration equipment.
- F‑Gas certification.
- Diagnostics and fault‑finding.
What we offer
- Salary £40,000‑£50,000 per year plus OTE up to £70,000.
- Personal‑use company van and door‑to‑door pay.
- Generous overtime rates (1.5×) and clear progression path.
