Hybrid Business Development Manager (IT Solutions)

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing IT solutions provider, is looking for a Hybrid Business Development Manager to generate new revenue and grow existing public‑sector accounts. The role blends field sales, client meetings and remote work, focusing on a broad portfolio of hardware, software and technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business across the South East region through proactive outreach and networking.
• Manage and expand existing accounts, maintaining long‑term relationships and repeat revenue.
• Present and sell a wide range of IT hardware and software solutions to NHS, Government, Education and other public‑sector clients.
• Navigate public‑sector procurement processes, including tenders, bids and framework agreements.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams to design and deliver tailored solutions.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular forecasting.

Required profile

• Proven track record in IT sales, preferably with hardware and software.
• Experience selling to NHS, Government, Education or other public‑sector organisations.
• Strong understanding of tendering, bidding and procurement frameworks.
• Confident communicator with a consultative, solution‑focused approach.
• Full UK driving licence – the role is field‑based.
