Hygiene Manager – Night Shift

About the role

Join one of the UK's leading food manufacturers as a Hygiene Manager, leading the night‑shift hygiene function at a high‑volume site in Normanton. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety and regulatory compliance while supporting operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the night‑shift hygiene team.
• Ensure cleaning schedules and hygiene standards are executed to the highest level.
• Maintain compliance with HACCP, BRCGS, food safety and customer standards.
• Drive continuous improvement across hygiene processes and procedures.
• Manage hygiene audits and support internal and external inspections.
• Collaborate with Production and Technical teams to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency.
• Uphold health, safety and environmental standards throughout the site.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Hygiene Manager, Supervisor, Team Leader or similar in food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, BRCGS, food safety and hygiene compliance.
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive attitude with a passion for high standards and continuous improvement.
