Hygiene Service Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Specialist Hygiene Technician to join our Croydon team, covering South West and South East London. The role involves delivering a wide range of hygiene and cleaning services to commercial and public premises, with full training provided.

Key responsibilities

• Perform reactive cleaning tasks such as bio‑hazard, flood water damage, infection control, police and prison cell cleaning, sharps removal, and crime‑scene remediation.
• Carry out technical cleaning projects including factory, high‑level, and silo cleaning.
• Work on an on‑call rota and respond to emergencies at short notice.
• Provide customers with advice and maintain a professional image at all times.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence held for at least two years with no more than six penalty points.
• Self‑motivated, reliable and proactive with excellent customer service skills.
• Willingness to work flexible patterns, including heights and confined spaces.
• Ability to pass a DBS check where required.

• Basic salary £26,655 per annum plus a £2,000 annual allowance, OTE around £35,000.
