About the role
The hospital is seeking a qualified registered nurse (IDE) to work day and night shifts within the short‑stay geriatric unit. The position is part of a pool covering short‑stay geriatrics, providing comprehensive nursing care to elderly patients during brief hospitalisations.
Key responsibilities
- Assess clinical situations, including behavioral disturbances, pain, and emergencies.
- Plan, organise and coordinate nursing care in collaboration with nursing assistants and the multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in gerontological assessments and contribute to social and discharge planning.
- Monitor and manage depressive symptoms and suicide risk in older adults.
- Ensure comfort and well‑being through daily care activities.
Required profile
- Valid French nursing diploma (IDE) and registration.
- Experience in geriatric or short‑stay hospital settings.
- Ability to work rotating day/night shifts.
- Strong collaboration skills with medical, nursing and support staff.
