IFA Administrator – Financial Services Administration

About the role

Finlink Ltd is seeking an experienced IFA Administrator to join its growing financial planning team in Taunton. This hybrid role (three days in the office) offers a supportive environment where administration is central to delivering high‑quality advice to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Own the new‑business application process and process applications within agreed service levels.
• Handle letters of authority, transfer authorities and issue related documentation.
• Maintain accurate client records on internal systems and support pipeline updates.
• Liaise with providers, third‑party services and manage correspondence.
• Assist Financial Planners, Paraplanners and Personal Assistants in preparing for client meetings.
• Answer telephone queries, manage incoming/outgoing post and resolve outstanding issues.
• Identify and suggest improvements to processes and client outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Financial Services or Client Administrator.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with advisers, providers and internal teams.
• Commitment to delivering an excellent client experience.
