IFA Administrator – Hybrid Working, Bristol, up to £50k + Bonus

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IFA Administrator to join a respected wealth management firm in Bristol. This hybrid position combines hands‑on client and planner support with team leadership, offering a pathway to a senior administrative career.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Financial Planning Director and a Trainee Financial Planner.
• Prepare client meeting packs, arrange meetings and manage adviser diaries.
• Liaise with clients and providers to progress new and existing business.
• Process Letters of Authority, obtain information from providers and maintain accurate client records using the firm’s CRM and workflow systems.
• Manage cases from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with FCA requirements.
• Coach, develop and allocate work for Junior Administrators, acting as the escalation point for four regional admins.

Required profile

• Approximately 3 years’ experience as an IFA Administrator in a financial planning or wealth management environment.
• Experience supervising, mentoring or coaching junior team members.
• Strong knowledge of pensions, investments and the full financial advice process.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confident communicator with a collaborative approach.
