Import Merchandiser – Supply Chain & Customer Management

About the role

We are seeking an Import Merchandiser to join a fast‑growing team in Oldham. You will manage the end‑to‑end import process, ensuring that customer orders are created, tracked and delivered on time while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Process purchase orders from creation through shipment, coordinating with suppliers to guarantee on‑time, full deliveries.
• Create and maintain detailed item specifications in the internal system.
• Manage customer administration forms, order dates and packaging requirements.
• Liaise with suppliers on artwork, samples, shipping documentation and invoices.
• Collaborate with buyers, design, packaging and quality‑control teams to keep orders on schedule.
• Monitor critical shipment timelines, plan container fills and resolve any issues before they impact customers.
• Provide exceptional customer service through clear, proactive communication.
• Perform general administration and support colleagues during peak periods.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in merchandising, preferably across multiple functions.
• Strong verbal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven ability to build and maintain professional supplier and customer relationships.
• Highly organised with the capacity to manage date‑critical orders.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
