About the role

We are looking for an experienced In‑House Solicitor to lead our EU261/UK261 passenger compensation claims. Working remotely from anywhere in the United Kingdom, you will join FlightHelp’s legal team and take responsibility for all aspects of litigation related to delayed, cancelled or disrupted flights.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage end‑to‑end airline passenger compensation claims under EU Regulation 261/2004 and UK261.
  • Prepare, issue and conduct court proceedings, including drafting statements of case and other legal documents.
  • Advise the business on litigation strategy and ensure compliance with the Civil Procedure Rules.
  • Negotiate with airlines, resolve disputes and provide legal support to other departments.
  • Maintain accurate case records and monitor progress through the UK courts.

Required profile

  • Qualified Solicitor with a current practising certificate.
  • Proven experience in civil litigation and submitting claims through UK courts.
  • Strong knowledge of EU Regulation 261/2004, UK261 and the Civil Procedure Rules.
  • Excellent legal drafting, negotiation and dispute‑resolution abilities.
  • Highly analytical, organised and able to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Experience in aviation law, consumer rights or high‑volume litigation is an advantage.
