In-House Tax Manager – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an In‑House Tax Manager on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract to provide UK and international tax advice within a large global business. The role is hybrid, requiring one day per week in the office, and offers exposure to cross‑border transactions and tax risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver clear, practical UK and international tax advice to the business.
• Support cross‑border transactions, funding structures and business changes.
• Identify tax risks and opportunities to inform decision‑making.
• Collaborate with teams across multiple markets to ensure local tax compliance.
• Contribute to transfer‑pricing documentation and related reporting.
• Assist with Country‑by‑Country Reporting and Corporate Interest Restriction calculations.
• Manage relationships with tax authorities and external advisors.
• Monitor regulatory changes and improve tax processes, systems and data usage.

Required profile

• Recognised tax qualification (ACA, ACCA or CTA).
• Experience in corporate tax, preferably within a multinational corporation or large advisory firm.
• Strong understanding of UK and international tax principles.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex tax topics clearly.

What we offer

• Salary up to £80,000 per year, dependent on experience and location.
• Bonus scheme of up to 10%.
• Flexible hybrid working arrangement (1‑2 days per week in the office).
