Independent Financial Adviser – Taunton

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Independent Financial Adviser to join an award‑winning financial planning firm in Taunton. The role is fully employed, allowing you to focus on delivering high‑quality advice without the need to generate your own client base.

Key responsibilities

• Provide independent advice on pensions, investments and protection.
• Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with both new and existing clients.
• Create tailored financial plans that align with client objectives.
• Ensure all activities comply with FCA regulations and deliver excellent client outcomes.

Required profile

• Diploma qualified (DipPFS, DipFA or equivalent).
• Current or recent Competent Adviser Status (CAS) and a valid Statement of Professional Standing (SPS).
• Proven experience advising on pensions, investments and protection.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a client‑first approach.

Required skills

• FCA compliance knowledge.
