Indirect Tax Manager

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing international business to find a Global Indirect Tax Manager. Based in London (2 days a week on‑site), you will own a multi‑jurisdictional indirect tax function, shaping strategy and supporting commercial decisions across EMEA, APAC and North America.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the global indirect tax strategy for multiple business lines.
• Identify, assess and mitigate indirect tax risks.
• Oversee VAT/GST, sales tax compliance and filings across all relevant jurisdictions.
• Review contracts and advise on indirect tax implications.
• Support tax audits and manage external advisors as needed.
• Partner with finance, operations and legal teams as a trusted business adviser.
• Drive tax technology and automation initiatives.
• Provide practical tax training to stakeholders.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of indirect tax experience in multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong knowledge of VAT/GST and sales tax regulations.
• Proven ability to translate complex technical issues into clear business guidance.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Experience in a multinational environment or top‑tier advisory firm.
• High attention to detail and professionalism.
