Individual Giving Lead - Acquisition

About the role

The Individual Giving Lead – Acquisition will own the supporter acquisition programme for Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust. Working closely with the Head of Individual Giving, you will design and deliver multi‑channel campaigns that attract high‑quality new supporters at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the subject‑matter expert for supporter acquisition and contribute to the wider Individual Giving strategy.
• Develop and execute an annual acquisition plan using digital, face‑to‑face and direct‑mail channels.
• Deliver targeted mailings to past patients to convert them into supporters.
• Design a personalised welcome journey that maximises lifetime value and long‑term loyalty.
• Monitor performance against KPIs, tracking cost per acquisition (CPA) and lifetime value (LTV).
• Analyse campaign data, generate insights and make evidence‑based recommendations.
• Stay abreast of industry trends while ensuring compliance with the Code of Fundraising Practice and legal policies.

Required profile

• Experience in acquisition within an individual giving or digital marketing team.
• Proven track record of recruiting new supporters through multiple marketing channels.
• Experience monitoring, evaluating and reporting on relevant KPIs.
• Strong numeracy skills for budget management and project spend monitoring.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
