Industrial Door Engineer – Essex

About the role

We are seeking an Industrial Door Engineer to join our client’s growing team in Essex. This full‑time, permanent position involves installing, servicing and maintaining a wide range of industrial doors and loading‑bay equipment across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, repair, fault‑find and maintain industrial doors such as roller shutters, sectional doors, high‑speed doors, manual doors and fire doors.
• Maintain loading‑bay equipment, dock levellers and related hardware.
• Work on a variety of manufacturers’ products, ensuring high‑quality workmanship.
• Communicate effectively with customers and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Provide support to team members when required and take responsibility for overall work quality.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Willingness to train; experience in the industrial door sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of a range of manufacturers and a positive, self‑motivated attitude.
• Desirable qualifications: IPAF, CSCS/ECS, SPA Passport, PASMA, City & Guilds.
