Industrial Leader – Supplier Support (Manufacturing Engineering)

About the role

Join the Manufacturing Engineering (ME) Industrial Systems team in Filton, near Bristol, to lead supplier support for Airbus programmes. You will provide technical ME assistance to our global supplier network, ensuring industrialisation meets performance targets across the Single‑Aisle aircraft family and other programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical Manufacturing Engineering support to suppliers on serial programmes and next‑generation aircraft.
• Manage New Product Introduction (NPI) and Transfer of Work activities.
• Develop industrial capability and lead the industrialisation of aero‑structure and detail‑parts supply chains.
• Coordinate activities within the assigned perimeter and communicate updates to internal and external stakeholders.
• Address non‑quality issues in the aero‑structure and detail‑parts supply chain.
• Drive process improvement and innovation across supplier operations.

Required profile

• Eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC).
• Willingness to travel frequently within the UK and internationally.
• Experience in manufacturing engineering, supplier support, and industrialisation within the aerospace sector.
• Strong ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and manage complex projects.
