Information Manager – Project Systems Manager (Infrastructure)

About the role

You will lead the information management team on the new M5J10 major highways project in Cheltenham. The role involves establishing the project Common Data Environment (CDE), configuring core systems and ensuring compliance with client and company information requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison with the client’s Information Management/BIM team.
• Coordinate, assure and implement BIM requirements according to the Employer Information Requirements (EIR) and BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
• Support adherence to company and project information management processes (IMP, BEP) and promote best practices.
• Work with the Central Support Team to align the project with the Business Management System (BMS).
• Supervise information management teams to maintain accurate, organized documentation across CDEs.
• Provide guidance, training and support for users of core systems such as Viewpoint and Field View.

Required profile

• Experience with a main contractor and familiarity with BIM principles, ISO 19650 and the BIM Framework.
• Ability to implement client EIR and BEP requirements at project level.
• Strong understanding of document control processes and technical system configurations.
• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in information management or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence using IT tools.
