Information Security & Cyber Security Analyst – Banking – £65k‑£80k (Hybrid, London)

About the role

Our client, a leading banking institution in London, is looking for an experienced Information Security & Cyber Security Analyst. The role is hybrid, combining office collaboration with remote work, and focuses on protecting the organisation’s information assets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead incident response activities, investigating and remediating security events.
• Manage vulnerability management processes, including scanning, assessment and remediation tracking.
• Operate and tune SIEM platforms for security monitoring and alerting.
• Perform security monitoring using EDR, DLP and network analysis tools.
• Provide security best‑practice guidance and act as a subject‑matter expert for other teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in incident response, security monitoring and vulnerability management.
• Strong understanding of technical security tools such as SIEM, EDR, DLP, Wireshark and Burp Suite.
• Broad knowledge of Windows, Linux, networking and virtualisation (VMware).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., GCIA, GCIH, GCFA) are advantageous.
• Ability to work in a large, enterprise‑level environment and support growth initiatives.
