Infrastructure Analyst

About the role

We are seeking an Infrastructure Analyst to join our legal client’s technology transformation programme. The role will involve working across a modern technology estate, supporting infrastructure projects, cloud adoption and critical business systems. You will collaborate with teams across the UK and internationally, gaining exposure to Azure, VMware, SD‑WAN and SaaS/IaaS platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Support the delivery, maintenance and continuous improvement of infrastructure services.
• Provide technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle, from design through to BAU support.
• Act as an escalation point for complex infrastructure issues.
• Support disaster recovery and high‑availability solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, test plans and recovery procedures.
• Contribute to infrastructure projects and service improvement initiatives.
• Participate in out‑of‑hours support when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience with VMware administration and Microsoft Azure environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2022, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Sites & Services.
• Understanding of disaster recovery, high‑availability concepts and networking fundamentals, including routing and troubleshooting.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds or SNMP.
• Ability to provide technical expertise throughout project lifecycles and act as an escalation point for complex issues.
