Infrastructure Engineer – Cloud (AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes)

About the role

We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to design, build and operate cloud‑native platforms for a high‑volume financial services client. The role is primarily remote with occasional visits to the Edinburgh office.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement infrastructure solutions on AWS using Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with product owners and vendors to define road‑maps and deliver reliable services.
• Provide operational support for platform incidents and out‑of‑hours on‑call duties.
• Automate deployment pipelines and ensure compliance with security, resilience and sustainability standards.
• Monitor system health using observability tools such as Grafana Loki, Tempo, Mimir and Prometheus.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer in retail banking, betting or e‑commerce environments with high online traffic.
• Strong background in AWS services and cloud‑native architecture.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab.
• Familiarity with Agile working practices.
