About the role

Our client, a respected and growing business in South Yorkshire, is seeking an experienced Commercial Solicitor to join its in‑house legal team. The role involves working on complex, high‑value commercial contracts and a broad range of legal matters within a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts and agreements.
• Provide clear, practical legal advice to internal stakeholders on diverse legal issues.
• Balance legal risk with business objectives, adopting a client‑focused approach.
• Collaborate confidently across teams in a fast‑moving, pragmatic setting.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with 2–6 years post‑qualification experience in commercial law.
• Experience gained at a leading law firm or a busy in‑house legal department.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Commercial mindset and pragmatic problem‑solving approach.
