About the role
This is a full‑time, remote position as an In‑House Employment Solicitor for a national ABS/commercial insurance firm. You will work primarily on respondent matters for a portfolio of regional and national clients, with quarterly travel to the head office in Bristol.
Key responsibilities
- Provide respondent‑focused employment law advice on contracts, policies, and termination matters.
- Draft and negotiate settlement agreements and other employment documentation.
- Support corporate transactions and commercial agreements with an employment law perspective.
- Represent clients in employment tribunal hearings and manage related casework.
- Occasionally handle claimant work as required.
- Maintain high‑quality client service and deliver commercial solutions promptly.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in employment law.
- Demonstrated experience advising respondent clients on both contentious and non‑contentious matters.
- Strong analytical and advisory skills with a client‑care focus.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and travel quarterly to Bristol.
