Injection Moulding Setter – Production Team

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to join a leading manufacturer’s production team in Kidlington. You will be responsible for preparing machines for changeovers, ensuring safe shutdowns, and maintaining high standards of quality and uptime on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare tools, materials and equipment ahead of production changeovers.
• Perform safe machine shutdowns and remove moulds for storage.
• Clear unnecessary materials and supply the next job with required stock.
• Install and securely set the correct tool for each production cycle.
• Complete daily performance records, reporting and production data entry.
• Run processes to meet standard settings, first‑off quality criteria and target cycle times.
• Configure machine monitoring systems with correct tolerances for repeatable runs.
• Troubleshoot machine issues affecting quality, performance or safety and implement improvements in SMED, TPM, mould handling, material handling, recycling and automation.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Injection Moulding Setter.
• Recognised qualifications in injection moulding setting and processing.
• Competence in crane operation, lifting/slinging and use of PPT equipment.
• Strong team player with clear communication skills.
• Ability to stay composed and effective under pressure.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic production environment; IMT qualification is a plus.
