Insolvency Solicitor – NQ+ – Dorset

About the role

A well‑established Dorset law firm is expanding its Insolvency & Corporate Recovery team and is looking for an NQ+ Solicitor. You will work closely with a Partner who is a qualified Insolvency Practitioner, gaining exposure to a broad range of insolvency and recovery matters.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and progressively take ownership of insolvency and corporate recovery caseloads.
• Advise insolvency practitioners on formal appointments and restructuring projects.
• Handle insolvency‑related litigation, dispute resolution and director issues.
• Support asset recovery and complex insolvency processes.
• Participate in business development and networking activities.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor (newly qualified, due to qualify, or with some post‑qualification experience).
• Genuine interest in insolvency and corporate recovery law.
• Strong communication, client‑focused approach and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Proactive, commercial mindset with good workload management.
