Insurance Account Handler

About the role

Join a leading international business in Chichester as an Insurance Account Handler. You will work Monday‑Friday, 9:00 am‑5:00 pm in a hybrid model, supporting a large portfolio of property insurance accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Support servicing of extensive property management portfolios, including renewals, technical queries and mini‑projects.
• Create and manage documentation for new customers, mid‑term adjustments and renewals, ensuring data accuracy.
• Assist with the renewal process, monitoring key dates and guaranteeing coverage is bound on time.
• Liaise with clients and insurers to confirm cover, process policies and follow up on outstanding paperwork.
• Handle technical queries related to residential, commercial, terrorism, engineering and construction risks.
• Apply legal and regulatory policies in line with internal procedures and insurance contracts.
• Address account queries and credit‑control matters, escalating issues when necessary.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Insurance Account Handler or in a similar insurance servicing role.
• Strong understanding of property insurance products and risk types.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain data integrity.
• Effective communication skills for client and insurer liaison.
• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements within the insurance sector.

• Salary £30,000‑£35,000 per year plus annual bonus.
