Insurance Broking Accounts Administrator (I-REC)

About the role

JMG Group is seeking an Insurance Broking Accounts Administrator for its Insurer Reconciliation (I‑REC) division, based in the new Finance hub in Yeadon, near Leeds Bradford Airport. The role focuses on delivering professional, FCA‑compliant service to internal and external customers while supporting the company’s rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Settle accounts within agreed credit terms and in line with FCA CASS5 rules.
• Refer commission adjustments for review and ensure accurate re‑debits.
• Reconcile insurer and client ledgers, matching line items across all Policy Administration Systems (PAS).
• Identify and resolve statement discrepancies, performing high‑level problem solving.
• Process commission reconciliation linked to premium settlements.
• Handle queries from insurance companies and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare payment files for cash‑book upload, ensuring dual‑authorisation compliance.
• Report any CASS5 procedural breaches to the Pentana compliance system.
• Maintain accurate business accounts and raise concerns to line management.

Required profile

• Strong background in accounts administration.
• Experience with insurer reconciliation or solid insurer knowledge.
• Understanding of FCA CASS5 regulations.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Pentana compliance system.
