Insurance Sales Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Insurance Sales Manager to lead our insurance sales team in London. Reporting to the Head of Insurance Sales, you will drive the delivery of sales, customer and quality targets while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver sales, customer and quality targets through disciplined daily execution, both personally and via the team.
• Ensure full adherence to quality and regulatory standards, prioritising customer outcomes.
• Lead and develop the sales team, managing performance and providing day‑to‑day operational support.
• Build strong cross‑functional and external stakeholder relationships, including trading relationships with underwriters.
• Act as the technical and placement authority, resolving technical queries and supporting complex broking cases.
• Use data, insight and structured experimentation to drive continuous improvement.
• Shape and evolve placement strategy through evidence‑led recommendations.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in the insurance industry.
• Proven track record of success in a sales management role.
• Strong leadership and motivation skills to guide a sales team toward daily and monthly targets.
• Ability to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
• Experience building and managing relationships with underwriters and other external partners.
