Intercity Bus & Coach Driver – Perth

About the role

Ember, the UK’s first fully‑electric, zero‑emission coach company, is expanding to Perth, Scotland. We are looking for professional drivers who are passionate about electric vehicles and delivering excellent customer service. Various start dates are available from June 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a state‑of‑the‑art electric coach safely, ensuring smooth braking and adherence to all traffic regulations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for passengers, assisting with luggage, maintaining a clean coach, and providing a friendly welcome.
• Utilise Ember’s proprietary technology platforms to enhance the passenger experience and report any issues.
• Perform light cleaning duties throughout the day to keep the coach in top condition.

Required profile

• Full PCV licence – Category D (minimum).
• Valid CPC and a digital tachograph card, or ability to obtain them quickly.
• Demonstrated high‑quality driving with a strong safety focus.
• Flexibility to work early, late, or night shifts on any day of the week.

• Competitive hourly rate starting at £16.50, rising to £17.30 after one year and up to £18.60 for overtime.
