Interim Advice Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Interim Advice Manager to lead a busy multi‑site advice service for a community‑focused charity in North West London. The role involves supporting vulnerable individuals with welfare benefits, housing, debt and immigration issues while overseeing a small team of staff and volunteers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the daily delivery of advice services across multiple sites.
• Manage and support a team of staff and volunteers, ensuring they work to agreed standards.
• Maintain high‑quality service and compliance with grant agreements.
• Carry a small personal caseload of clients.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and the Head of Advice on new initiatives and service expansion.
• Drive quality improvement and shape future service development.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing advice services in the charity or community sector.
• Strong knowledge of welfare benefits, housing, debt or immigration.
• Confidence using case management systems and handling data.
• Passion for delivering high‑quality advice to vulnerable people.
• Available to start immediately or with ≤1 month notice.

What we offer

• Fixed‑term contract until April 2027 with possible extension.
