Interim Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Interim Finance Manager to lead day‑to‑day financial operations for a client in the leisure, travel and tourism sector based in London. This temporary position will ensure accurate reporting, compliance and smooth financial processes while supporting the broader accounting team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage financial reporting and analysis to support business decisions.
• Oversee month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Provide financial insights to senior management for strategic planning.
• Monitor cash flow and manage working capital effectively.
• Liaise with external auditors and manage audit processes.
• Lead and mentor the finance team to ensure high performance.

Required profile

• Strong background in accounting and finance within the leisure, travel and tourism industry.
• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Proven ability to manage financial reporting and compliance tasks.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Confidence in using financial systems and tools.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities.
