Interim Financial Controller

About the role

Harts Group is looking for an experienced Interim Financial Controller to support the Chief Finance Officer across its portfolio of award‑winning restaurants. The role runs until November 2026 with the possibility of becoming permanent, based in the Soho office.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the CFO with planning, budgeting and forecasting the Group’s financial budget.
• Analyse and review P&L statements, presenting cost‑saving opportunities and monthly/quarterly performance improvements.
• Maintain internal reporting systems, including weekly updates on Tenzo.
• Provide ROI analysis for capex and maintenance expenditures to executive teams.
• Manage supplier negotiations alongside procurement to improve profitability.
• Summarise budget trends, analyse variances and report findings to senior leadership.
• Act as the primary contact for landlords, delivering turnover information and audit certificates.
• Oversee market‑related costings, price control and margin tracking using Marketman.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and commercial mindset with hospitality experience.
• Self‑starter who can communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Proven ability to work within a leading restaurant group.
