Interim Group Financial Controller (6-month assignment)

About the role

This interim position supports a leading global fashion brand with a turnover of over £150m. Over a six‑month period you will take charge of the Group Finance function, ensuring robust reporting, cash‑flow management and a high‑performing finance culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, develop and manage a team of 15 finance professionals.
• Own core accounting and reporting requirements across the group.
• Produce high‑level management reports for senior leadership.
• Manage cash‑flow reporting and forecasting processes.
• Partner with the CFO and Head of Commercial Finance to shape finance culture.
• Enhance and document financial control processes throughout the business.
• Leverage systems to improve KPI reporting, consistency and team efficiency.
• Maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors and banks.

Required profile

• ACA qualified.
• Recent experience in a £100m+ international organisation.
• Broad exposure to all control areas (management accounting, AP/AR, tax, etc.).
• Proven experience managing teams of 10+ people.
