Interim Senior Commercial Finance Analyst - Hybrid

About the role

This interim position supports a Bournemouth‑based business during a critical 3‑6 month transformation of its reporting and forecasting processes. The role is hybrid, with three days in the office and two days remote, and offers an immediate start for a commercially‑focused finance professional.

Key responsibilities

• Review and enhance promotional and trading performance reporting.
• Develop new pricing and customer trend analysis reports.
• Evaluate and improve existing BI reports, identifying consolidation opportunities.
• Create commercial finance reports for range reviews, promotional analysis, stock performance and availability.
• Refine forecasting models and reporting processes.
• Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across reporting and analysis.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A or Financial Analysis.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate data into insights.
• Advanced Excel skills, including modelling and complex reporting.
• Experience with BI reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
