Interim ServiceNow Transformation Project Manager

About the role

A leading global financial services institution is looking for an experienced interim ServiceNow Transformation Project Manager to lead Phase 2 of its enterprise-wide ServiceNow transformation. Reporting to the ServiceNow Transformation Programme Director, you will own the migration and re-engineering of legacy processes onto a modern, standardised ServiceNow platform, in a complex, highly regulated environment. The assignment lasts 6-12 months and is paid up to £800 per day inside IR35.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex ServiceNow migrations, moving from legacy platforms to an enterprise-wide ServiceNow environment.
• Transform critical IT processes such as Software Asset Management (SAM), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Patch Management, Cloud Workflows, Integrated Risk Management (IRM) and Portfolio Management.
• Re-engineer legacy workflows, reduce technical debt and leverage native ServiceNow capabilities to improve efficiency and standardisation.
• Influence technology leadership, IT Asset Management, Cloud Operations, Infrastructure and Risk teams across a global organisation.
• Manage project plans, resources, budgets, dependencies, risks, testing and implementation, and ensure stakeholder adoption and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• 7+ years delivering large-scale IT transformation, platform migration or process re-engineering.
• Proven experience migrating legacy processes and data into modern ServiceNow environments.
• Experience in financial services, ideally within a large, highly regulated banking or financial services environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to engage senior technology and business leaders.
• Experience managing technical dependencies, delivery risks and organisational change.
• UK-based with current and valid UK Right to Work.

Required skills

• Strong hands-on ServiceNow knowledge, especially SAM Pro, HAM Pro, Cloud Workflows, Flow Designer and enterprise workflow capabilities.
• PRINCE2, PMP, ITIL or relevant ServiceNow certifications are advantageous.
