Interior Designer (Commercial Workplace)

About the role

Unispace is looking for an Interior Designer to join its London studio. You will create commercial workplace solutions from concept through to completion, delivering high‑quality designs that meet the company’s global standards and innovative philosophy.

Key responsibilities

• Produce complete interior design packages, including material selection, finishes and detailed joinery documentation.
• Manage budgets and bills of quantities, ensuring profitability and supporting fee proposals.
• Assist senior leaders and principals with project briefs and conduct design reviews at key milestones.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to meet financial targets and drive studio initiatives across regions.
• Stay current with market trends to enhance design operations and innovation.
• Align design solutions with Unispace’s culture, values and brand.
• Work with directors and principals to implement operational improvements within the design team.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in commercial/workplace interior design, supported by a strong portfolio.
• Tertiary qualification or equivalent in a relevant design discipline.
• Demonstrated commercial acumen and ability to manage budgets and proposals.

Required skills

• High proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency with InDesign, Photoshop and SketchUp.
