Internal Communications Manager

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a creative professional to join its international Digital Journey Management team as an Internal Communications Manager. You will play a pivotal role in guiding digital and IT initiatives, ensuring change management and communication strategies are aligned with the human experience of change across UK and international projects.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate effective change management and communication strategies into digital transformation programmes.
• Support the human side of change by crafting clear, engaging internal messages.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver digital initiatives.
• Travel occasionally to Airbus sites in Germany, France and Spain as required.
• Maintain compliance with BPSS security clearance requirements.

Required profile

• Creative professional with a passion for digital transformation.
• Experience in internal communications and change management.
• Willingness to work hybrid (Stevenage or Portsmouth) and travel internationally.
• Eligibility for a BPSS background check.
