Internal Recruitment Consultant

About the role

Our client, a leading business in their sector, is expanding and seeks an Internal Recruitment Consultant to join their permanent team in Tonbridge. You will work closely with hiring managers and colleagues to source, screen and qualify high‑calibre candidates, ensuring the highest quality standards throughout the recruitment process.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth phone screenings and video interviews to assess candidate suitability.
• Utilise job boards, social media and other platforms to attract top talent.
• Screen all incoming applications and shortlist candidates that meet role requirements.
• Maintain compliance with all recruitment and data‑protection regulations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand hiring needs and deliver timely results.

Required profile

• Previous recruitment experience, either in‑house or agency based.
• Excellent communication skills, confident liaising with candidates and colleagues at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
• Strong understanding of compliance and recruitment best practices.

Required skills

• Experience conducting phone and video interviews.
• Proficiency using job boards and social media for candidate sourcing.
• Ability to assess candidate suitability against business needs.
