Internal Sales Advisor – Construction Products

About the role

This position is an internal technical sales advisor role focused on a wide range of construction products. You will be based in Wigan and work primarily with builders merchants and contractors to promote and sell items such as concrete repair solutions, waterproofing, sealants and protective coatings.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of approximately 115‑120 spending accounts on a day‑to‑day basis.
• Sell construction products to major builders merchants including Keyline, Travis Perkins, Buildbase and Jewson.
• Develop relationships with main contractors, sub‑contractors and specialist contractors.
• Support warehouse operations when required.
• Generate new business opportunities, primarily within existing accounts.

Required profile

• Experience in internal sales, trade counter or customer service within the building trade.
• Background working for merchants or distributors such as Jewson, Travis Perkins, Keyline, Buildbase or Selco.
• Strong account‑management abilities and relationship‑building skills.
• Enthusiastic, professional, organised and driven.
