Internal Sales Executive – Engineering Business

About the role

We are seeking an Internal Sales Executive to join a growing engineering business in Cheltenham. The role is office‑based and offers a clear pathway to an Internal Sales Manager position for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls and handle customer enquiries.
• Create and issue accurate customer quotations.
• Enter customer orders into internal systems efficiently and accurately.
• Manage daily logistics, including booking couriers and pallet networks.
• Support filing, archiving and general office administration.
• Provide internal support to sales and operations functions.

Required profile

• Dynamic, proactive and highly organised.
• Confident using computers and office‑based systems.
• Technically minded with the ability to understand engineering products.
• Previous experience in internal sales, sales support or a similar office role.
• Strong communication and customer‑service orientation.
