Internal Sales Executive

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Internal Sales Executive to join a leading manufacturer of commercial washroom systems. You will work closely with the Sales Estimating team to follow up quotations, develop opportunities and convert enquiries into confirmed orders.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively follow up quotations issued by the Sales Estimating team.
• Contact contractors, distributors and commercial customers to discuss live enquiries.
• Build long‑term customer relationships and identify opportunities for additional business.
• Re‑engage previous customers and dormant accounts.
• Understand customer requirements, project timescales and purchasing decisions.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process.
• Maintain accurate quotation records and sales activity using Microsoft Office and internal systems.
• Collaborate with estimating and sales teams to maximise quotation conversion.
• Assist with general business development activities.
• Achieve agreed sales and activity targets.

Required profile

• Previous experience in internal sales, telesales, business development, sales support or account management.
• Confident and professional telephone communication.
• Strong relationship‑building and follow‑up skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Organised with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple quotations and enquiries.
• Self‑motivated with a positive, proactive attitude.
