Internal Sales Executive

About the role

We are looking for a commercially driven Internal Sales Executive to join our well‑established team in Crawley. You will own the sales process from the first customer enquiry through to order fulfilment, ensuring a high level of service and converting opportunities into successful sales.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer enquiries via telephone and email.
• Prepare accurate quotations and support customers with their requirements.
• Follow up quotations and opportunities to maximise conversion.
• Maintain regular communication with customers to progress sales.
• Build strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Identify upsell opportunities for additional products and services.
• Process and manage customer orders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customer requirements effectively.
• Support the wider sales team on larger or more complex opportunities.

Required profile

• Previous experience in internal sales, sales support or a customer‑focused commercial role.
• Confident telephone manner with strong relationship‑building abilities.
• Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple opportunities.
• Persistent yet professional approach to customer engagement.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office; CRM experience is advantageous.

What we offer

• Monday‑Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm onsite work.
• 21 days holiday plus bank holidays.
• Salary £35,000 – £45,000 per year, dependent on experience.
