International Tax Manager

About the role

The International Tax Manager will support the Head of Tax across all global entities, handling corporate income taxes, DPT, IPT, and transfer pricing. The role provides tax expertise for global projects and ensures compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS, and international tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and review outsourced income tax return completion and related analysis.
• Manage tax returns for the group’s international subsidiaries.
• Review tax workings and disclosures for quarterly and statutory corporate income tax reporting under UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Coordinate IPT and withholding tax matters, liaising with external advisors for UK and international subsidiaries.
• Support the Head of Tax on queries related to corporation tax, wealth tax, IPT, SAO, R&D, Country‑by‑Country reporting, and Lloyd's tax reporting.
• Assist with tax aspects of M&A activities, group structure planning, and OECD Pillar 2 minimum tax implementation.
• Liaise with external tax advisors and authorities as required.
• Develop and embed tax compliance processes for a newly formed General Insurance Company.
• Provide tax input to finance system transformation projects.
• Prepare, manage, and monitor quarterly tax payments for UK and selected international subsidiaries.

Required profile

• Proven experience in international corporate tax compliance and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and OECD Pillar 2 requirements.
• Experience with IPT, withholding tax, and transfer pricing across multiple jurisdictions.
• Ability to support M&A tax due diligence and post‑transaction integration.
• Familiarity with Country‑by‑Country reporting and Lloyd's tax reporting.
