International Tax Manager

About the role

KPMG is seeking an International Tax Manager to join its International Tax team in London. You will work with large inbound and outbound multinational businesses, providing strategic tax advice across complex, multi‑jurisdictional projects.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality International Tax advisory services, including tax structuring, refinancing, and business reorganisation.
• Manage pre‑ and post‑transaction tax analyses, tax authority enquiries, and support for tax controversy matters.
• Collaborate with specialists in other departments and overseas offices to integrate expertise into client projects.
• Coach and develop junior team members, fostering technical excellence.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for additional tax and advisory services.
• Lead proposal development, tender documentation, and client pitch presentations.

Required profile

• Qualified ACA, CA, CTA, ACCA or equivalent with solid UK corporate tax and accounting knowledge.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders and develop junior staff.
• Experience working with multinational clients is advantageous.
• Strong analytical mindset, curiosity and drive to stay abreast of global tax policy changes such as BEPS 2.0.
