Inventory Analyst

About the role

The Inventory Analyst will optimise stock levels across C&C Group’s network, ensuring the right products are available at the right time. You will combine sales data, demand patterns and depot capacity to set safety stock, replenishment parameters and stocking policies.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse inventory data and sales trends to define optimal safety stock and replenishment formulas.
• Collaborate with depot stock controllers to refine stocking policies based on demand, replenishment cycles and depot constraints.
• Support depots with ordering suggestions, order placement and process improvements.
• Monitor and report on key metrics such as stock levels, working capital, OTIF, availability and forecast accuracy.
• Maintain and enhance the Optimiza planning tool, testing upgrades and ensuring alignment with supply‑chain processes.
• Produce daily and ad‑hoc reports and analyses for the wider supply‑chain team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a supply‑chain role, preferably within FMCG or a related industry.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach with stock controllers, account managers and demand planners.
• Dependable, detail‑oriented and passionate about delivering high service levels.
