Investigator – Corporate Conduct & Speak Up

About the role

The Investigator will lead complex, sensitive investigations into Speak Up and colleague conduct matters across the Group. Working within the Speak Up Team of Group Audit, you will ensure concerns are addressed fairly, consistently and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, scope and manage investigations end‑to‑end, including interview preparation and fact‑finding.
• Analyse data and evidence using eDiscovery tools and appropriate analytical techniques.
• Identify and manage conflicts of interest, protect reporter anonymity and handle sensitive information securely.
• Maintain accurate case records, management information and evidence in line with data‑handling requirements.
• Produce governance and oversight reports, summarising progress and findings.
• Act as a point of contact for external parties when required.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in corporate investigations within a large, regulated organisation.
• Proven ability to handle complex and confidential cases with integrity.
• Strong judgment, critical thinking and professional discretion.
• Awareness of the regulatory environment and ability to apply changes to investigative work.
