Investment Banking Associate – Healthcare M&A

About the role

This position is with a leading global investment bank, joining its high‑performing Healthcare M&A team in London. You will work on a steady pipeline of high‑profile transactions, supporting both execution and origination across the European healthcare sector.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage workstreams on complex M&A deals, including financial analysis, valuation, due diligence and process coordination.
• Build and review detailed financial models and transaction documentation.
• Collaborate directly with senior bankers and client executives on strategic reviews and board‑level presentations.
• Support business development and origination initiatives within the healthcare industry.
• Mentor and supervise junior team members.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of investment banking experience at a bulge‑bracket or elite boutique firm.
• Healthcare M&A exposure is strongly preferred; exceptional generalist M&A associates will also be considered.
• Proven track record of executing and marketing multiple deals.
• Ability to own both marketing and execution workstreams.

Required skills

• Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical capabilities.
