Investment Operations Analyst – Private Banking

About the role

Barclays is seeking an Investment Operations Analyst to support Private Banking Wealth Management in Glasgow. The role focuses on day‑to‑day processing, reviewing, reporting and issue resolution for client accounts, products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Process, review and report on private bank and wealth management transactions, including corporate actions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align and integrate private banking processes.
• Identify improvement areas, recommend changes and develop procedures to mitigate risk.
• Prepare reports and presentations on performance for senior stakeholders.
• Monitor industry trends and contribute to best‑practice implementation.
• Participate in projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of corporate actions (UK and international) and their impact on wealth management.
• Understanding of product types such as equities, bonds, funds, hedge funds, derivatives and private markets.
• Experience in change management and strategy execution within the corporate‑action lifecycle.
• Background in private banking or wealth management operations.
