About the role
This invitation‑only posting is for doctors in training employed by NHS Highland who wish to join the medical locum staff bank. The role offers ad‑hoc locum assignments across the Highland and Argyll & Bute region.
Key responsibilities
- Provide temporary clinical coverage in a variety of NHS Highland hospitals and health centres.
- Deliver safe, high‑quality patient care in accordance with NHS Scotland standards.
- Collaborate with permanent medical teams to ensure seamless service continuity.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation for each locum shift.
Required profile
- Currently employed as a doctor in training within NHS Highland.
- Have received a unique invitation code via email.
- Willing to work on an ad‑hoc, as‑needed basis.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; Gaelic speakers are welcome.
