IPS Fidelity Assurance Lead

About the role

The IPS Fidelity Assurance Lead will champion high‑quality Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services across West and East Sussex. Working from our Brighton office, you will ensure that all teams meet the IPS fidelity standards and deliver sustainable employment outcomes for people with mental health and addiction challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Support IPS teams and individual practitioners to embed fidelity‑aligned practice in daily work.
• Maintain “review ready” status for all services, preparing for and leading fidelity audits.
• Monitor performance against targets, driving continuous improvement and high‑impact outcomes.
• Provide expert guidance to employers and employees to sustain job placements.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to shape service strategy and expansion across Sussex.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering IPS employment support services.
• Deep understanding of the IPS fidelity scale and review process.
• Track record of managing target‑driven, high‑performance services.
• Knowledge of mental health services and how employment aids recovery.
• Strong communication skills with a range of stakeholders.

Required skills

• Experience in mental health employment support.
• Ability to analyse service data and produce quality reports.
