About the role
Start your IT career with VPZ, supporting retail teams with POS systems, devices and network issues while learning from experienced IT professionals.
Key responsibilities
- Provide first‑line technical support for retail staff, assisting with hardware, software, and network issues.
- Support the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and updating of retail software applications.
- Help manage IT equipment, including issuing, tracking, and recovering devices.
- Perform basic hardware maintenance on computers and retail devices.
- Assist with inventory tracking and documentation of IT assets and repairs.
- Support basic network troubleshooting and maintain security best practices.
- Participate in training and actively develop IT skills.
Required profile
- Interest in IT/computing with relevant qualifications.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast‑paced retail environment.
- Full, clean driving licence.
