IT Technician – Support & Infrastructure

About the role

Express Solicitors is seeking an IT Technician to join its IT team. The role will support day‑to‑day operations and long‑term maintenance of the firm’s technology infrastructure, ensuring staff can work efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Administer in‑house software and provide desktop support for Windows 10 environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues, including PCs, laptops, printers, scanners and other peripherals.
• Support company mobile phones, tablets and telecoms systems.
• Maintain a comprehensive IT asset register and assist with security system management.
• Provide occasional on‑site support at the Liverpool branch as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months experience in IT support or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows‑based operating systems and common troubleshooting techniques.
• Understanding of network infrastructure, computer hardware and peripherals.
• Analytical and problem‑solving abilities across a range of ICT issues.
• Excellent communication, organisation and time‑management skills.
